Urgh, still yucky, but bacon sandwiches, roast pheasant and copious quantities of juice help a lot. Sarah, Fred and I watched Harold and Maude today, a rather excellent wee film about a young man called Harold who's obsessed with mortality and becomes infatuated with Maude, an elderly lady who is addicted to life. It sounds creepy, but is more quirky, definitely a forerunner to Wes Anderson's movies in everything from temperament to soundtrack. It surprised me by being much better than it sounds on paper, it's funny, charming and delightfully weird.
